Trainer, Psychologist and Executive Coach

David founded David Hoy & Associates in 1997 and is the Executive Director. He holds a PhD in education from Capella University with a specialization in training and performance improvement in business organizations. David is a certified professional co-active coach through the Coach’s Training Institute (CTI). He has done extensive research in the field of career development and occupational health. David provides workshops, coaching and counseling services to executives and managers at work and in job transition. He is a Minnesota state licensed psychologist with 20 years of clinical experience and is certified as a sports psychologist through the National Institute of Sports. David uses relaxation techniques with clients to improve performance at work, in job transition and in sports.

MarDee Rosen Hall, MA, LP

MarDee is the Clinical Director at David Hoy & Associates. She holds a Master of Arts Degree from Saint Mary’s University in Minnesota, and is a licensed psychologist. She provides outpatient therapy for clients, and supervision for therapists, unlicensed mental health practitioners, and interns. MarDee has been providing therapeutic services to children, families, and adults for over 20 years. She has extensive training in EMDR and Gestalt therapy. Her experience includes: working in schools with children, families and school staff, providing in-home therapy to families, and out-patient therapy to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families. MarDee’s clinical specialties include working with: survivors of trauma and abuse, depression, anxiety, chemical dependency, ADHD, parenting issues, and family conflict.

Greg Gray, MA, LMFT

Greg is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. He works with families and individuals in gentle and collaborative ways to help them find relief for emotional, relational, and intergenerational issues. Greg counsels people regarding such difficulties as depression, anxiety, step-family concerns, spiritual issues, grief, and loss. He assesses, understands, and treats, mental and emotional illness with compassion and sensitivity. Greg is trained in EMDR, a treatment designed to aid in relieving symptoms associated with trauma. As a veteran, Greg is committed to the mental and emotional health of service members, veterans, and military families.

Megan Kunz, MA, LMFT

Megan is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She works with individuals and families with the goal of improving relationships. Megan does this by encouraging open communication, providing psychoeducational support and processing emotional issues. Megan provides psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults who may be experiencing behavioral and emotional issues, depression, anxiety, trauma and relational issues. Megan is a caring and thorough practitioner who will bring intensity and humor to the therapeutic relationship, with a particular interest in working with adolescent females and their families.

Jennifer Littlewolf, MSW, LICSW

Jenny has a Masters in Social Work from the University of St. Thomas and is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. She has experience as a school social worker and has been working as an in-home therapist with David Hoy & Associates for over 10 years. Jenny specializes in working with children and families. She bases her interventions on a person-in-environment model that helps clients recognize and use their personal strengths to deal with life’s problems and stressors. She believes that successful therapy happens when there is a positive and mutually respectful relationship between the therapist and the client. Jenny has a lot of patience and empathy and is skilled at working with challenging clients and high risk families.

Debra McGuffee, MA, LMFT

Debra is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She has 14 years experience in providing therapy and graduated with honors from Alfred Adler Graduate School in Minnesota. She works with individuals of all ages, families/ blended families, and heterosexual-gay-lesbian-bisexual couples. Debra works with a wide range of mental health concerns, including depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, OCD, eating disorders, chemical dependency / co- dependency, ADHD, parenting problems, relationship issues, spirituality, life transitions, and cross cultural Issues. She utilizes Adlerian Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Restructuring and Behavior Modification, Solution Focused Brief Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy.

Liz Gamble Taylor, MSW, LICSW

Liz is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. She works to support and enhance the well-being of adults, adolescents, children, and families in a variety of school and office counseling therapy settings. Liz provides psychotherapy to adolescents and adults, including clinical treatment of depression, anxiety, PTSD, and severe behavior and emotional concerns. In addition her practice includes: school counseling for children and adolescents, parent groups, support and education for families living with one or more members who have emotional and/or behavior problems, and court-ordered parent assessments. Some areas of focus are: anger issues, grief and loss, peer relationships, trauma: including rape and sexual abuse, family reunification, life transitions and change, parenting issues, stress management, school related problems and relationship issues

Melissa Treichler, MA, LMFT

Melissa is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Melissa is an encouraging and supportive therapist who believes that everything happens for a reason and that there is something to be learned from every experience. Through the therapeutic process you will gain greater appreciation for your whole self and be able to live more authentically. Melissa has ten years experience in the field of mental health working with children and families in a variety of educational and therapeutic settings including school and office counseling. She has a background in the areas of autism, learning disabilities and emotional and behavioral disorders. Areas of focus are: anxiety, depression, life coaching, relational issues, health and wellness, and parent/child conflict.

Greg Walsh, MA, LICSW

Greg is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker. He provides mental health counseling for children, adolescents and adults. For more than 19 years, Greg has practiced in a variety of settings with diverse populations including: children and teens with challenging emotional and physically aggressive behaviors; counseling for physically disabled adults, as well as grief and loss issues for all ages. Greg specializes in: E.M.D.R. (Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing) – which is particularly effective for clients who have experienced traumatic life events such as divorce, job loss or abuse. Greg’s clinical interests and competencies include: conflict resolution, depression, anxiety and related diagnoses, communication enhancement, parenting skills, and chemical use/abuse issues.
