If you are seeking out help with weight management, you are not alone. Overweight and obesity has reached epidemic proportions in the United States and all over the world. Current day estimates indicate as many as 62 to 65 percent of Americans are over weight or obese. The rest of the world trails the US by about 10 percentage points and climbing. While the negative health consequences of obesity are well documented and a variety of diet and exercise programs exist, obesity rates continue to climb.

A health and weight management coach emphasizes the importance of career, spouse, family, finances, fun and recreation, physical environment and personal growth as much as weight loss and maintenance.
Coaching is action oriented with each action designed to move the client towards discovery and accomplishment. In each session the coach and client create objectives to be completed between sessions.
The coach provides a structure of support and accountability as the basis of forming new behavioral patterns that support long term health and weight management.
As each goal is achieved, your confidence, self-esteem, and self control increase. New behaviors become habit and new life skills become permanent!
