FAQS

Counseling and Psychological Services

In Counseling we address areas of conflict in individual, spousal and family relationships.

We assess and treat mental health issues such as depression, anxiety or other forms of trauma that individuals, couples, or families may have experienced.

Unlike coaching, a therapist/counselor may go back with a client and help them unravel a piece of their life in order for them to move forward.

A therapist uses expertise and often directs the counseling process. A recommendation may be made for medications if symptoms are present. Other behavioral forms of treatment may be necessary.

Counseling is recommended if there is a problem or a decrease in functioning level at home or work, in marital or familial relationships, with peers, in the community, or involvement in with law enforcement.
